It was late winter when I headed out the door all bundled up to capture Twin Peaks. Hiking down the trail the snow crunched beneath my feet and then thirty minutes later I had arrived. I quickly set up my tripod and camera and then put my beaver mittens back on to preserve the heat in my finger. I took several shots and then combined them to form a panoramic this view of Twin Peaks. I somehow managed to come at the right time to capture this. The timing was absolutely perfect for this shot. The rising moon gave a splendid show of color, Venus was as bright as ever and twilight gave a kiss of deep blue to the sky and Twin Peaks and lets not forget the sun still cast a bit of light onto the mountains.
