Winning the Denali Road Lottery has always been a feather in my cap and today the winds found favor for Erin and myself, we had gained entrance into Denali in mid September.   We were on a two day  adventure with close friends, Wes and Roxanna going deep into Denali National Park.  The snow was lightly coming down on the dirt, gravel road making it a bit messy, but we were comfortable inside the Ford excursion.  The leaves were turning from green to red and bright yellows, black rock outcroppings prominent now, because of the white of the snow which now partially covered them and the sky, with shades of blue and pink rose above the rugged mountain tops.
