As fall came to Alaska the air was crisp and cool, perfect for a climb up and back down Lazy mountain. We live close to Palmer and at the base of Lazy mountain, I frequent here often. Every day is different and there is always something to capture. This scene reminded me of the artist Maxfield Parrish with the tree bows bending over and framing the photo. Beyond the trees is the Matanuska Valley and the mountains in the distance are part of the Chugach mountain range. Up the valley is the Knik glacier.
