This is one of my favorites.  Taken between the Glenn highway and Palmer Alaska.  It was a cold evening as the sun to the right had gone down, but still illuminated the mountains.  The moon was slowly rising beyond creating a wonderful moonrise though the atmosphere. In the sky one can see Venus in the middle  that separates the yellow/orange and the deep blue sky with tiny little stars imbedded
